The blue, pH-neutral lotion combines thorough, gentle cleansing with a subtle, fresh fragrance. Its balanced formulation of allantoin, high-quality moisturisers and glycerin protects the skin from drying out. The nature-identical preservatives used are particularly mild and extremely kind to the skin.

Gentle cleansing of the skin with a protective effect

Free of fragrance and colour, DESCOLIND PURE WASH is ideal for cleansing sensitive and dry skin that reacts with irritation to aggressive surfactants. The pH-neutral wash lotion gently cleanses and caresses the skin with its creamy soft texture. Extra mild surfactants, quality ingredients such as allantoin and glycerin, and moisturising agents help to nourish the skin and prevent it from drying out.

Skin-friendly formulations are ideal

The pH value can be used to distinguish between acids and alkalis. The pH scale ranges from 0 (acidic) to 14 (alkaline). The neutral value is 7, which means that a liquid is neither acidic nor alkaline. For example, pure water has a neutral pH. Human skin also has a pH. This is between 4.1 and 5.8. Formulations that match this pH are known as pH skin neutral. They are particularly kind to the skin because shifts in pH, especially towards the alkaline range, affect the healthy skin barrier.

Skin types and conditions

Depending on the type of skin, users should choose the appropriate skin care products. There are products for normal, sensitive and allergy-prone skin. Skin type is hereditary. Skin cleansing for mobile and immobile patients

While mobile patients can usually wash themselves, immobile patients are washed by nursing staff. This in turn places different demands on the form of application. There are two types of antimicrobial washes available. Rinse-off products are products that come into contact with the skin only briefly and are rinsed off with water at the end of the application time. This form of application is particularly suitable for mobile patients who can shower with water. Leave-on products are products that remain on the skin and should not be rinsed off with water. This form of application is recommended for washing immobile patients. These products are easy to use as they do not require the use of water or washing utensils. The wash lotion, with its mild surfactants and refatting agents, and the wipes are very well tolerated by the skin, making them ideal for patients with sensitive skin.
